Information for Modulars, Factory Built Homes, or Mobile Homes

1.  Mobile Homes, Modulars or Factory Built Homes

     This type of construction requires a minimum of 3 inspections:

     a.  Footer
     b.  Foundation or Slab on grade
     c.  Final Inspection/Certificate of Occupancy Issued

2.  Permit Fees

     a.  HUD Modular     $316.00
     b.  UBC Modular     $511.25
     c.  DOH Insignia (both types)  $40.00
     d.  Use Tax = 1% of Materials
                 Example:  $15,000 Foundation Cost (Including Labor)
                 $15,000 x 30% = $4,500 (Materials Cost)
                 $4,500 x 1% = $45.00 (Use Tax)
     e.  Plan Check Fee $16.00 (UBC Modular Only)

HUD      $316.00 (Permit Fee)      $  40.00 (DOH Insignia)      $  45.00 (Use Tax)                   $401.00 (Total Permit Fee)

UBC $511.25 (Permit Fee) $  40.00 (DOH Insignia) $  45.00 (Use Tax) $  16.00 (Plan Check Fee) $612.25 (Total Permit Fee

Any inspections over these basic 3 inspections will be charged separately @ $75.00 per inspection.
