2008 Parade Theme:
"Logan County is Golden"

Parade Route:  Starts at Main Street and North 7th Avenue, continues east on Main Street to North 2nd Street, north one block to Poplar Street, west on Poplar Street to State Street, continues West on State Street back to North 7th Avenue.  Parade entry is free (or $10 After August 1st) entry forms published in newspapers or contact the Commissioners Office at (970) 522-0888.  Deadline is August 1st.  Registration begins at RentaCenter at 7:30 a.m. the day of the parade.  Pick up your number which gives you your position in the parade.

Directions to the Logan County Fairgrounds:  

From I-76 Sterling Exit #125:  Follow signs into Sterling.  Cross over the overpass (Chestnut Street).  You will stay 
on Chestnut Street until it becomes Platte Street.  Turn right on North Third Avenue.  Continue on N. 3rd Avenue.  
At the stoplight, you will see the Logan County Fairgrounds ahead.  Parking is available (free) at the fairgrounds or at 
Sterling High School or Sterling Middle School.

From Hwy 14:  Hwy 14 becomes Sterling's Main Street, turn left on N.7th Avenue.  Continue on N. 7th 
Avenue until you pass the high school track and football and baseball fields.  Turn right on Elm Street.

From Hwy 138:  Follow Hwy 138 into Sterling.  This becomes Broadway Street.  Turn right at third stop light 
(North 3rd Avenue).
